Swiss luxury watchmaker Longines has unveiled a fully redesigned HydroConquest collection for 2026, combining contemporary aesthetics with advanced technical performance. Building on nearly two centuries of Swiss watchmaking expertise, the latest HydroConquest models are available in 39 mm and 42 mm stainless-steel cases and launch alongside a campaign starring Henry Cavill, filmed on the dramatic shores of Tenerife.
Since its debut in 2007, the HydroConquest collection has become known for blending sporty functionality with timeless elegance. The 2026 redesign modernises the collection while preserving the versatility and understated style that define the brand.
Redesigned Luxury Dive Watches in 39mm and 42mm Sizes
The updated HydroConquest collection introduces refined case proportions designed to balance wrist presence with everyday wearability. Both the 39 mm and 42 mm stainless-steel models feature upgraded finishing and improved detailing throughout the watch.
The redesigned dial layout includes applied hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova® for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. Longines offers four dial variations: lacquered blue, black, and green finishes, as well as a distinctive frosted-blue sunray dial that creates a dynamic play of light across the surface.
New Dial Colours and Ceramic Bezels Elevate the Collection
The new HydroConquest range features five ceramic bezel colours, including black, blue, slate grey, green, and luminous blue. These bezel options allow multiple combinations across the collection, reinforcing the watch’s sporty yet elegant character.
Inspired by the Ultra-Chron Diver, the reworked unidirectional rotating bezel delivers improved tactile feedback and precision handling. A luminous Super-LumiNova® capsule positioned at the bezel’s zero marker improves readability in dark environments.
Built for aquatic performance, the collection maintains a water resistance rating of 300 metres and includes a screw-in crown for enhanced durability and protection.
Longines L888.5 Movement Delivers Precision and Reliability
At the core of every new HydroConquest model is the exclusive Longines calibre L888.5 automatic movement. Equipped with a silicon balance spring and anti-magnetic components, the movement is up to ten times more resistant to magnetic fields than ISO 764 standards require.
The self-winding calibre also delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve, combining long-lasting performance with the precision and reliability expected from modern Swiss luxury watches.
HydroConquest Adds Milanese Mesh Bracelet for the First Time
Longines also introduces Milanese mesh bracelets to the HydroConquest collection for the first time. Crafted from stainless steel with brushed finishing and polished sides, the new bracelets offer a more refined and contemporary aesthetic.
The tapered mesh construction enhances comfort and breathability, while the micro-adjustment clasp and redesigned shortening links provide a more personalised fit. Additional bracelet options include updated stainless-steel H-link bracelets inspired by Longines GMT models introduced in 2023.
300m Water Resistance Meets Modern Swiss Watchmaking
The screw-down case back now features a refined planisphere engraving that connects the HydroConquest collection to Longines’ heritage of exploration and adventure. This subtle design detail reinforces the collection’s identity as a luxury sports watch built for both performance and sophistication.
