Rituals has transformed a 175-square-metre space into a sanctuary designed for mental and physical restoration. The concept, which began in Amsterdam in 2020 to mark the brand’s twentieth anniversary, has since expanded to Frankfurt and Berlin. Zurich represents the Swiss debut of this approach to urban wellness, housed within a premium retail environment spanning two levels at Bahnhofstrasse 69a.
The Mind Oasis offers two distinct treatments, each addressing the connection between body and mind. The Hydro Massage takes place on heated water beds, where circular movements work to release tension whilst warmth encourages the body to let go of accumulated stress. Guests remain fully clothed throughout the session, making the experience accessible without the formality of traditional spa protocols. Sessions are available in 25-minute and 45-minute formats.
Brainwave Technology Meets Meditation
The Brain Massage represents the more innovative element of the Mind Oasis concept. Conducted in one of four private pods, the treatment combines breathwork, meditative soundscapes and muscle-relaxing vibrations. The technique, known as brainwave entrainment, guides neural activity towards a theta state, the deep meditative condition associated with profound rest and mental clarity. The experience aims to deliver immediate cognitive relief, preparing guests to re-enter their day with renewed focus. Two durations are offered: a 30-minute Regeneration session and a 55-minute Deep Relaxation experience.
Rituals’ Vision for Modern Wellbeing
Rituals positions the Mind Oasis as a response to contemporary stress, addressing the reality that relaxation must extend beyond the physical. The Zurich location follows the brand’s established model of integrating retail with experiential wellness, creating a destination rather than simply a store. Appointments and gift vouchers can be booked in person or online. The treatments are not suitable for pregnant guests.
